Le filtre A1030102 est la première étape de filtration pour les unités d'extraction BOFA V200, V250 et FumeCAB 250. Le préfiltre A1030102 est un matériau assez grossier conçu pour filtrer initialement tous les éléments à grosses particules des fumées qui le traversent. Le préfiltre prolonge également la durée de vie du filtre HEPA/gaz de l'étape suivante.
