Designed to Last on Your Workwear

Logos and wording can be added to any part of the clothing, on any garment in our range. Embroidery delivers a professional, hard-wearing finish that holds up to repeated industrial laundering.

  • Works best with solid colours — no fades or shading

  • Clean, bold lettering reproduces best

  • Minimum letter height of 5mm for legibility

  • Strategic placement chosen for maximum visibility

  • Thousands of Pantone shades exist but far fewer thread colours — we’ll match yours as closely as possible

  • Adding a name? Standard fonts have no set-up cost; custom fonts carry a one-off set-up fee

Vinyl Transfer

State-of-the-Art In-House Vinyl Printing

Vinyl heat transfer reproduces your logo exactly as your artwork — crisp, bold and full colour. It’s the ideal choice for garments that can’t be embroidered, such as waterproof jackets and coats, and it makes logos and safety messages on hi-vis stand out clearly and boldly.

3 Simple Steps

1

Send Your Design

Supply your artwork in a high-quality format — full colour is no problem.

2

Approve the Proof

We mock up your print and send it over for sign-off before we begin.

3

Print & Deliver

We print in-house and dispatch your branded workwear across the UK.

Built for Detailed, Colourful Artwork

Perfect for waterproofs, hi-vis coats, jackets and vests, plus everyday tops like polos and t-shirts. Vinyl captures fine detail and multiple colours embroidery can’t. On standard tops, following the garment care guide keeps your print looking its best for longer. (Vinyl transfer isn’t the same as dye-sublimation printing.)

  • Ideal for waterproof jackets & coats that can’t be embroidered

  • Bold, clear logos & safety messages on hi-vis

  • Full colour & fine detail, reproduced exactly from your artwork

  • Great on all fleeces, tabards and hoodies too — follow the care guide for longest life

Artwork Guidelines

Getting the Best From Your Design

A few simple pointers help your branding look its sharpest — whether embroidered or printed.

🎨

Solid Colours

Embroidery works best with solid colours. Avoid fades and shading, which don't translate to thread.

🔠

Bold Lettering

Clean, bold lettering reproduces best. Keep a minimum letter height of 5mm so text stays legible.

📐

Smart Placement

Strategic placement matters for visibility. We'll advise the best position on each garment.

FAQs

Embroidery & Printing Questions

Ordering & Process

Call to discuss your requirements, send your logo or wording in a high-quality format, approve the mocked-up proof we send you, then place your clothing order online or via our sales team.

A high-quality version of your logo is ideal — vector or a high-resolution image works best. If anything needs adjusting for embroidery or print, our design team will let you know. High quality JPEGs or clear background PNGs as well as SVGs are acceptable.

Yes. Logos and wording can be added to any part of the clothing — for example a company name on the front and staff name or role elsewhere.

Pricing & Set-Up

No two printing jobs are the same so we cannot give a standard cost for this service, however, our staff are more than happy to discuss your individual requirements and provide a formal quotation in writing before you place an order.

No. The £20 is a one-off per-logo charge. Reorder the same approved logo or design and you won't pay it again.

For in-house embroidery or printing there is no set minimum quantity. Get in touch and we'll advise on your specific requirement.

Embroidery & Print

Embroidery gives a premium, hard-wearing finish and suits solid-colour logos. Printing handles detailed, multi-colour artwork and gradients. Not sure? We'll recommend the best method for your design.

We can add names or change colours easily, and are happy to discuss your design requirements.

Embroidery works best with solid colours (no fades or shading) and clean, bold lettering with a minimum letter height of 5mm. Strategic placement also matters for visibility.

Approval & Delivery

Yes. We send a mocked-up proof for your approval before anything goes into production — so you sign off exactly what you'll receive.

You can place your clothing order online or through our sales team — whichever is easier for you. Contact us before ordering to discuss your design requirements, as adding embroidery or printing on our website is not available at present.

Call us on 01202 588900 or email sales@grovesales.co.uk, or use the quote form on this page and we'll come back to you.
