The Two Pack Primer EP131 is a high-quality, solvent-free, epoxy sealer/primer designed for use on concrete surfaces before applying static-dissipative floor paints.

 

With a coverage rate of 10m² per litre and 50m² per tin (1 coat), this primer provides excellent surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion and performance of subsequent coatings.

 

Supplied in a convenient 5-litre tin, it stabilises the concrete and insulates against excessive conductivity, which is crucial for static-sensitive environments.

 

Proper surface preparation is key to achieving the desired physical and electrical properties of the final coating. Before applying the primer, ensure the concrete is dry (less than 5.5 on the Protimeter Screed Scale or less than 15% moisture content). The floor should also be cleaned of any oil, grease, or chemicals using an alkaline detergent and thoroughly dried. For best results, use mechanical preparation or an STR machine to create an open, sandpaper-like surface.

 

Apply the epoxy primer as per instructions, ensuring you do not exceed the recommended re-coat time for a strong, durable bond.
