Description: The Premium ESD Gilet is designed for use in Electrostatic Discharge Protected Areas (EPA) where static control is critical. This gilet is engineered to dissipate static charges efficiently, ensuring safety and optimal functionality in environments where sensitive electronic components are handled.

 

Fabric Specifications:

  • THSS Fabric:
    • Composition: 48% Polyester, 48% Cotton, 4% Conductive Fiber
    • Fabric Weight: 280 g/m²
    • ESD Properties: Static dissipative woven fabric with carbon-loaded yarns in a 5mm grid.
    • Resistance: 106 – 107 Ohm (point-to-point).
    • Charging Time: Less than 2 seconds.
    • Compliance: Meets IEC/TS 61340-4-9:2016 and ANSI/ESD STM2.1:2018 standards, even after 40 industrial washings.
    • Finish: Crease-resistant and workwear-oriented.

 

  • THSB Fabric (Fluffy Inner Side):
    • Composition: 48% Polyester, 48% Cotton, 4% Conductive Fiber
    • Fabric Weight: 320 g/m²
    • Colour Options: Only available in Black or Royal Blue.
    • Properties: Soft inner lining for added comfort and warmth.

      • In order to preserve the long life of ESD clothing, please use industrial laundries who can provide controlled, documented washing procedures and environment.
      • Washing in cold or not warmer than 40°C (104°F) lukewarm water with neutral liquid detergent.
      • DO NOT USE detergent or fabric softeners containing bleach or chlorine or any other form of alkalis or acids.
      • DO NOT dry clean.
      • Dry in the open or tumble dry at temperatures up to 50°C (122°F)
      • This clothing DOES NOT require ironing, but if necessary the maximum temperature is 110°C (230°F) or lower.
